Rue and the Raven, Leda and the Swan

For this month's Tutu contest I chose the tale of Leda and the Swan. Which is a pretty messed up story. Basically Zeus has a crush on the queen of Sparta and decides to sleep with her (or rape, yanno whatever) in the form of a swan. Then she laid two eggs. Wat.

So, the story kind of, SORT OF, made me think of Rue and the Raven, being deceived and lied to, making her some some sort of abomination. I dunno.

Also, I know that it would make more sense for the black swan to be a crow or raven, but it looked so bad, they just aren't as pretty as swans. Also, Rue is the lack swan of the story... soo... I dunno.

But there you have it! Done in ink and touched up in photoshop.
